TURN Community Services
What is TURN Community Services?
TURN is a program where students can serve and spend time with individuals with disabilities at centers throughout Utah County. Volunteers will help individuals learn social skills, create art projects, play games, improve their talents, and create lasting friendships.
The centers take volunteers anytime Mondays through Fridays from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM and 12:00 PM-2:00 PM .
Sign up below to come make a difference for someone in our community!
Volunteer Commitment: Volunteers are always needed, but we encourage volunteers to participate at least once a month.
How do I get involved?

You can show up during the above times, or coordinate with the Program Directors to go with them!

Experiences
I felt comfortable and welcome from the first day I began working with TURN. I love laughing, talking, and hanging out with the individuals at the TURN homes. There is a goodness that radiates from their faces and you can't help but feel happy while you are with them.

I had never really done anything like TURN before I became a volunteer. When we held our first event, I was a little nervous! It turned out to be the most amazing experience. These people are such a joy to work with. It's so wonderful to know you are helping them have a good experience, but even more meaningful what they do for me. They are truly kind and happy and those feelings are contagious when you are around the members of TURN. I can't wait to have more events with BYU and TURN so more can have the same experience!
