Project Youth
What is Project Youth?
If you are interested in volunteering at this event, please fill out the following form: Project Youth Interest Form
Volunteers are needed to assist fifth and sixth-grade students from Title 1 schools by giving them a glimpse of campus life in hopes of instilling a desire for higher education. Get ready to lead these young students around campus and to breakout sessions that teach them about some of the amazing opportunities for learning ahead of them. Then, all of the students and volunteers will participate in a "Power Rally," which is a high-energy, closing assembly.
Our event for this school year will be on Thursday, March 3, 2022.
How do I get involved?
Application Process: Project Youth is in need of BYU student volunteers to serve as group leaders for the visiting elementary students. For questions, contact the program directors by phone or by email at projectyouth@byu.edu.
Please complete this mandatory 20 minute child protection training before you begin working with the children.
Experiences
Serving with Project Youth was such a fun way to become more involved with the community. Seeing the children we served with so excited to learn about college gave me deeper sense of gratitude for all the blessings I experience as a BYU student. I hope I can continue passing it on!
